For Unto Us… 12.23.22

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2 THE PROMISE OF PEACE As I sat down to write about peace I was reminded of a moment when one of my best friends was overwhelmed by the reality of God’s grace and the peace that He offers to those who walk…

For Unto Us… 12.21.22

When I sat down to assemble my thoughts on the topic of peace, the first verse that came to mind is one that God has been bringing to my mind any time I find myself lacking peace over the past few months.  The verse is Isaiah 26:3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. Specifically the first…

For Unto Us… 12.19.22

Do you realize that is not what God wants for you? He…

For Unto Us… 12.14.22

“The joy of the Lord is my strength.” You’ve heard that phrase before right? My question for you is, do you realize where it comes from? Where in God’s book, in His Holy Word, is it located? Do you know if it is the Old Testament or New Testament? Does it sound poetic like a psalm? Or did Paul write it while in prison? Did you know it was Nehemiah chapter 8? It is. The people are gathered at the…
