Allentown Rescue Mission

Allentown Rescue Mission

Help FBC to support the Allentown Rescue Mission during the COVID-19 situation. Items can be dropped off at the FBC office the week of April 28; FBC will then deliver the donations to the rescue mission at the end of the week.

From the Allentown Rescue Mission: Allentown Rescue Mission is remaining open in order to provide a home and meals to our men. As a precautionary safety measure, our men are being provided bagged meals in order to lessen the chances of contracting the virus. Due to the amount of men we must provide these meals for, the Allentown Rescue Mission is in urgent need of food items that can be given out in these circumstances.

Items we are in urgent need of are…

  • Cleaning / Toiletry Items: Facemasks (handsewn, surgical or dust masks), Hand sanitizer, Clorox/Disinfectant Wipes, Bleach, All Purpose Disinfectant Spray Cleaner, Pine sol, Toilet Paper, and Brown Commercial Paper Towels
  • Single-serve snacks (granola bars, chips, crackers, etc.)
  • Single-serve beverages (water, juice, soda, etc.)
  • Powdered Drink Mix
  • Non-prepared food items to make sandwiches. These items include, but are not limited to; lunch meat, cheese, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Marshmallow Fluff, tuna, mayo packets, bread, rolls, and wraps.
  • Sandwich bags

We have a signup list below to help us plan, and to help others know what’s still needed. Please sign up below for any items you are interested in bringing to FBC. Thank you!
