The mission of the ministry “Sweatshirt of Hope” is to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. The issue they address is many people struggle in silence in this dark self-serving world not knowing where to turn. With suicide, depression, anxiety, loneliness, hopelessness, addiction, finances, a wayward child, marriage, a long-term illness can bring us down. So, they cry out to you to talk with someone today! Call our prayer hotline or be vulnerable and call a trusted friend and share your struggle. Don’t carry the burden along. God Loves You!
One event they do to reach out is Hope Festival. A community event with music, speakers, entertainment, food, and resource ministries and organizations to connect people to help and ultimately Hope in Jesus Christ. Ask Chad if you have more questions but consider being part of this day. It’s fun and free.
This year we will attend Hope Festival on Friday, September 18th. We will meet at the church at 5:15pm and drive down to Souderton to see the concert of Tenth Avenue North, opener: Laura Williams. We hope to return by 10:30 pm. Youth, grades 6-12, are invited, Parents and kids that are younger may join us as well.
