Basketball nights in the Family Life Center.

We're currently off for the summer... but will be starting again this autumn:

Guys looking to spend some time playing basketball - as well as looking to learn about the Bible - are welcome to come to First Baptist Church every Thursday night.

Before the 7:45 game time, we have an "attendance optional" time of about 10-15 minutes looking at the Word of God, including what it has to say about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Occasionally, four week Bible studies take place and are announced in advance in place of the 10-15 min pregame Bible time. Many thanks to Steve Diaz and Matt Orr for helping put together these studies that show how relevant the Bible is to our lives today.

This has been a winning combination for nearly three years now, and were grateful that guys have been coming by - sometimes seemingly by the busload. If you'd like to join us, please stop by on Thursday's at 7:30 pm. Doors are locked promptly at 7:45 so don't be late. No exceptions.
