PASTORAL SEARCH
As we make our way through this transition period without a pastor, please keep our church leadership and our search committee in prayer. We are seeking God's choice for this position and His direction in the life of the one whom He chooses. Sheets with ongoing prayer requests are located in the lobby.
CHOIR PRACTICE
Choir practice for the Fall will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 1st. Whether you are a veteran or a newcomer, if you love the Lord, love singing, and love making a "joyful noise," you are welcome to join us. Practice will start at 7:00 sharp.
LIGHTHOUSE SUNDAY SCHOOL BREAK
The Lighthouse Sunday School class just completed its summer study and will be taking a break for a few weeks due to vacations and preparations for college departures. We will reconvene on Sept. 5th with breakfast and begin our new study on Sept. 19th. Contact Pastor Zimmerman for more details.

LADIES FALL BIBLE STUDY
The Ladies' Fall Bible Study begins Sunday, Sept. 19th at 6:00 p.m. Rushika Heinle's mother has graciously agreed to teach our study through the end of October when she will return home to Sri Lanka. Dilhani Weerasooriya is a woman who loves the Lord and is a tremendously gifted communicator. Please plan to attend and invite a friend.

There will be a Leader's Meeting for Pioneer Clubs on Wednesday, September 1st, at 6:45 p.m. in Room 502. We will be discussing roles and responsibilities as well as planning activities for this upcoming year.

5:45 p.m. in Room 502. We will be discussing roles and responsibilities as well as going over this program for those who are not familiar with it.

CHILDREN' S CHRISTMAS MUSICAL
Calling all children in grades K-12 that are interested in being part of a Christmas Musical!! There is an opportunity for you to be involved in the Christmas Musical, "I Wish You Jesus". We will begin practices on Sunday, Sept. 19th from 4:15 - 5:40 p.m. We are also in need of adults who may be interested in helping out. We will need practice helpers, costume makers, set designers, etc. If you and/or your child are interested in being involved, please contact Joanna Midgett.
WELCOME CENTER
There is a need for volunteers to assist with the Welcome Center. If you are a people person, this may be the ministry for you. Please stop by the Welcome Center or contact Lynn Swallow or Kelly Oswald.
PULPIT PARTNERS
There is a need for more pulpit partners who meet Sunday morning during the sermon to pray for the speaker and the congregation. These volunteers pray for one of the services, one time a month. If you would like to participate in this ministry, please contact Faith Loy or the church office.
FBCA STITCHIN' SISTERS
Sisters in Christ, knitting, crocheting, and learning together. Please consider joining us on alternate Mondays from 7-9 p.m. in the Disciples Classroom. For additional details, please see the sheets available in the lobby.
